Speedsters Beyond Early-game spend list
A first-hour shopping list so Snail rank does not last all night.
Early game in Speedsters Beyond is everything before Ascension 5 / Bullet / treadmill. After that, idle XP exists and this list changes. Until then, every point you waste on a meme skin is a Fragile job you still have to run.
Read getting started for the commute. This page is only the shop.
Buy in this order
- Nothing, until you have done enough jobs to see a 4,000-point morph. Looking is free. Buying a 500-point joke body is not.
- Invincible (or the current cheapest speed morph). Recorded at about 4,000 points. This is the only S-tier purchase that belongs in hour one. See the morph tier list.
- Casual XP Gain (one or two ranks) if you still have leftover points and you are not about to rebirth in the next minute. XP Gain feeds the ascension bar.
- Free Rewards whenever they light up. Not a purchase, still a spend decision — claim them before you open Morph so the number you see is real. Free rewards.
Do not buy yet
- Reverse Flash at ~40,000. That is a second-session body.
- Evolution payments at 45,000. You cannot finish snow trees efficiently on Snail Speed.
- Instant Ascension Robux. Learn the level gate by clicking it yourself once.
- Auto-Ascend. Same reason.
- Race entry when Lightning players are in the lobby. You are buying embarrassment, not points.
- Joke skins. Screenshots wait until Bullet.
How to know you left early game
You left when:
- The treadmill accepts you.
- The title over your head says Bullet or later (titles).
- Easy jobs feel short even with Fragile on.
- You can reach the sand ring without treating it like a hike.
Then reopen the morph tier list and think about Reverse Flash, Flash, and the first evolve that actually beats your multiplier.
A sample first 4,000 points
- 10–20 easy jobs with Return to Spawn.
- One Mystery Orb if it is free (12,500 in one clip would skip this entire grind).
- Zero races.
- Zero fake codes.
- One morph purchase.
- One ascension if the button is up and you have no pending XP upgrade you still need.
That is the spend list. It is boring on purpose. The exciting shop rows are a trap until Speed is a statistic you have, not a statistic you watch other people have.
If a patch slashes Reverse Flash to 5,000, this page will look conservative. Good. Recheck updates and then break the rule on purpose, not because a thumbnail said OP.
Why Snail feels slow on purpose
The default body exists so the first Job NPC is a tutorial even if the game never says “tutorial.” If you skip it by buying a Robux speed pack, you still need to learn Fragile trees. Spend money if you want; do not skip the tree lesson. The controls page is shorter than a refund ticket.
A Mystery Orb during hour one is luck, not a strategy. If you get one, buy Invincible and keep the leftover for Casual XP Gain. If you do not get one, you are not unlucky — you are on the intended commute. Ten easy jobs with Return to Spawn is the strategy. Everything else is a trailer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for jobs, morphs, and ascension.
When does early game end?
Around Ascension 5 when Bullet and the treadmill unlock.
Should I save 40,000 for Reverse Flash first?
No. Buy a cheap speed morph, then save. Jobs get easier with Speed.
Is Casual XP Gain worth it?
Yes in small ranks if a rebirth is not immediate. Do not dump the whole wallet into it.
Can orbs skip this list?
A fat Mystery Orb can pay for Invincible instantly. Still follow the skip list for Robux and joke skins.
